FCKuCANCER.

so a helluva lot has happened since february. i can’t believe it’s basically september and i haven’t posted all year. im sorry guys. im gonna try to catch y’all up on everything, quickly.

but first, how y’all been? i hope everything has been going well for you. and i genuinely appreciate you all checking up on me.

i finally got my computer battery replaced. it’s been on my list since december, and i just got it done last month!!

let’s talk chemotherapy…

last we “spoke” i had recently switched from kadcyla to enhertu. i have now taken 11 rounds and let me tell you, enhertu has been like a box of chocolates…you never know which side effect(s) you’re gonna get.

some rounds i’ve dealt with hella exhaustion and not much else, others i’ve had everything under the sun. two rounds ago, i was sick the enter 3 weeks, give or take one or two days. and for the past 2 or 3 rounds my hair seems to be falling out again.

i have found it very difficult to keep up with work, i feel like i am always lagging behind. i’m just so damned tired all the time. it’s crazy.

needless to say, i am happy that my last round of enhertu is coming up. very much looking forward to it. but, what that means is that surgery is coming in hot. and, this is the big one. can you believe it’s almost been a year since i had the bilateral mastectomies? i cannot.

the rest of the year is gonna absolutely fly by. i just know it. i haven’t talked about it at all, but i am raising money for bootwalk again this year. i will be dedicating another post to it, so please look for it and donate if you are able :). the money we are raising is doing awesome things.

this was a quick rundown of the year thus far. summed up in a few words: chemotherapy exhaustion blur.
