do not fear, for i am with you;
do not be afraid, for i am your god
i will strengthen you; i will help you;
i will hold on to you with my righteous right hand.
difficult things can cause us to ask,
“why did this happen?”
god may never reveal his reasons,
but he has revealed his character to us.
he assures us that he is ever faithful,
always caring, and will never leave us in our time of need.
