A memorial service for Mrs. Tara Marie Colarelli, age 60 of Katy, Texas, is scheduled Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 12813 Westheimer Rd. Houston, Texas 77077 from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM. Tara passed away November 1, 2023 in The Woodlands, Texas. She was born on July 16, 1963 in Spokane, Washington to the late Thomas Lee and Evelyn (Garcia) Colarelli.
Tara attended Acadiana High School in Lafayette, Louisiana and studied English Literature at the University of Houston. She was formerly of New Orleans, Louisiana; Lafayette, Louisiana; and Angleton, Texas before settling in Katy, Texas. Tara worked a variety of jobs before she was hired at Tokio Marine HCC as a financial systems Analyst, where she worked for the last nine years. She loved to write, read, and paint but most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends.
Tara was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Lee Colarelli on June 21, 1979, and her mother, Evelyn Colarelli on October 18, 2023.
She is survived by her son, Thomas Lee Anthony Colarelli and her brother, Kirk Steven Colarelli.
