Herbert Glynn Coleman, Jr. was born on January 30, 1962 in Augsburg, Germany. His parents are (Father) Herbert Glynn Coleman, Sr. of Fort Washington, Maryland (Mother) Florence Myers Coleman of Houston, Texas.
Herbert leaves behind two brothers; Jeffery Coleman of Laurel, Maryland, Gene Coleman of San Francisco, California, a sister; Stacey Myers Coleman of Houston, Texas and three nephews; Chadwick and Chandler Godine and Caleb Coleman.
He completed Wheatley High School in 1980 and furthered his education with a BS degree in Criminal Justice at Texas Southern University in 1984. Soon after, he began his career as a Parole Officer in Angleton, Texas. He remained employed for more than 25 years with the Texas Department of Corrections.
Herbert enjoyed reading non-fiction books and jazz music. He was truly a computer “Geek” and enjoyed traveling. He stayed abreast of his friends happenings through social media.
