Angela Macedonio Price, beloved mother, wife, daughter, sister and friend passed away peacefully on August 19, 2024 surrounded by loved ones, after a courageous 10 year battle with metastatic breast cancer.
Born on January 23, 1956 in Ronkonkoma, New York to Pete and Lorraine Macedonio, Angela was the oldest of 3 daughters raised on a farm where she enjoyed horseback riding, playing with her sisters and numerous cousins that come with a large Italian family. She attended Oswego State University where she was awarded a teaching degree that she took all the way to Fulshear, Texas for her first teaching job. Following her brief teaching career, Angela found herself in the world of furniture sales. Her dedication, talent, and commitment to excellence afforded her a fantastic career but it was her caring and loving spirit that brought her invaluable friendships in her coworkers and clients. Amidst her busy career, Angela went back to school and earned a degree in Spiritual Psychology from University of Santa Monica.
Beyond her career and education, Angela was known for her warmth, generosity, and unwavering strength. She faced life’s challenges with remarkable grace, particularly in her battle against metastatic breast cancer. In the beginning, Angela even returned to work with Global Furniture Group until she sought retirement in 2020 to focus on her family. Her courage and resilience were an inspiration to all who knew her. Despite the hardships she endured, her spirit remained indomitable, and she continued to bring light and love to those around her.
Angela’s greatest joy was her family. She shared an extraordinary love with her husband as they enjoyed outdoor adventures, the beach, good food and travel. She was also a devoted mother to her only daughter and Nanny to her two beautiful grand girls. She spent many weeks in Mississippi enjoying pajama parties, make up lessons by Ella Cate, dance parties and selfie photo shoots.
She leaves behind her devoted husband, Bret Price, daughter Darian Wales (Rob), grand girls Ella Cate and Claire Wales, mother Lorraine Macedonio, sisters Anita Waltman (Michael) and Annette Dale (Scott); nieces and nephews, cousins and many beloved friends. She is preceded in death by her father Pete Macedonio and therapy dog, Daisy.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at 1pm at the Firethorne Club House 28800 S. Firethorne Road, Katy, TX 77494, where loved ones and friends will gather in their brightest and best colors to honor her memory and share stories of the incredible woman she was. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to MD Anderson Boot Walk to End Cancer.
Though she may be gone from our sight, Angela’s love and legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
