so next week is round 2. and let me tell you, im super anxious about it. this one will be the determining factor for me on the planned trip to japan in july. so i’ve got a lot riding on the recovery time.

let’s talk experienced side effects thus far:

• headaches
• tingly fingers
• fatigue
• diarrhea
• loss of appetite
• taste changes
• mouth sores
• nausea (not much)

and as of this morning we can add hair falling out to the list. so that’s fun. now for most of the above, they dwindled down as the days progressed. i would say days 4 – 8, the diarrhea definitely made itself known so that was a blast. literally.

my mda surgeon consult got pulled up to this week so i can move that to my to-done-list. she gave me some more things to think about. and just as i expected, they are a bit more conservative with their approach. next up, i need to do consults with both the methodist and mda plastic surgeons to get the complete picture before making my decision re: type of procedure and facility performing it.
