venice, tennis, beyonce…oh my

ok y’all, bucket trip twanky-twenty-three is a wrap. and it was absolutely amazing. i have decompressed and now it’s time to fill you in…but first, cancer.

i had my most recent round of scans and an xgeva injection a couple of weeks ago. happy to report, the meds are still working, the cancer is still stable! i have quite a few doctor’s appointments coming up, but mostly just to touch base and whatnot. i promise i feel the prayer around me. i am covered and sooooo thankful y’all. i crossed the year 3 milestone last month, and i know i have said it before, but i did not expect to still be here three years after a terminal diagnosis.

i am thankful, yet, so very overwhelmed. we always say it’s not our plan, it’s HIS plan. i am reminded every day how true that is.

my life has changed so very much in these three years. and after watching that, i’m now a ball of tears all over again.

i need to compose myself. stay tuned for part two of this post. fin for now.
