can y’all believe this shit? my goodness. this has been the longest election cycle ever. and you know what terrifies me. if this orange toddler loses, what is he gonna do for the next 3 months? i said if back there so as not to jinx it…

i had my PET scan yesterday, and my follow-up with my pcp. it was a long day. my plan was to take a nap then log on to work to take advantage of the day off and get some things done…but yeah i woke up at night. then pretty much went right back to bed after eating and pills.

but. before i went to bed i checked my phone. and y’all. more good news. the meds are working on my bones too. and i quote: continued interval improvement of the primary left lesion…osseous metastatic disease noted on prior imaging appears controlled.

this is great news!

i appreciate all of the thoughts, calls, cards and prayers. it’s been a rollercoaster so far, but man i am so thankful for each and every one of you. it is impossible for me to put into words just what it all means to me.

i also want to say thank you to my mom. she surprised me by sending out shirts to people and it was so cool getting texts from people in their shirts. i posted them on instagram, so if you haven’t seen them take a look.

i’m super tired so this one won’t be long. for real for real…

i had to go back to the dentist today and get my bite adjusted. hopefully for the last time. i’m on antibiotics now for the pain, and hoping that everything clears up, because if not, a root canal would be the next option. i have to be off my meds for two months for that — one before, and one after — so i’m trying to avoid it at all costs. only time will tell.

i also picked up my mouth guard while i was there and since my top back teeth are not aligned properly my guard had to be cut funky so it would fit comfortably. but now it’s bothering me that it’s asymmetrical. like i am literally obsessing over it. i’m weird like that. it’s in right now. we’ll see how the first night goes. they also sent me home with the cast of my top row for future guards. i showed it to momma and told they were fitting me for a grill. the look on her face was priceless. can’t wait til i have one for real…she is going to flip out!!
