bone & ct scans

so for these, first they gave me an injection of some sort of radioactive dye. it had to run its course through my body for 3 hours before they could do the bone scan so i went and did the ct scan second. basically lied on a table with very colorful lights in an open ring. no big deal.

broke for lunch, then went back to the hospital for the bone scan. now this one was intense. i laid on a table, under a platform that basically came down within what felt like 2 inches of my face. like, i felt like i could lick it if i didn’t have on a mask. all i could do was close my eyes and try to go to sleep.

all in all, the scans were just that. scans, no pain at all. i asked them to burn me a copy before we left. then i ran home to figure out how to look at them.

so…i’d tell you what the discs say…but i’m no doctor. i did look them over with bridgette and although shes not an oncologist she was able to tell me what i was looking at.

lets just say, things are getting worse before they get better and leave it at that. for now.
