so full disclosure i only starting seeing a pcp when i changed companies to take advantage of our insurance discounts for annual physicals. i normally just saw my ob every year, so im sure before this…i was just a name on a folder to her. this was our second visit.

we spoke, she had a nurse come in the room, they [gasp] saw the lump and then she proceeded to do a breast exam on both breasts. she ended the visit by putting in the order for a mammogram and ultrasound and said i could call to schedule that same day so i wouldn’t have to worry about it during the weekend. of course i called the number to schedule but they closed at 4, so missed it by like 10 minutes.

The following day was able to get the appointments scheduled for the 8th.
